Mike Cowan

Prior to starting Advanced Computer Connections Mike spent 6 years as a Navy Diver and 15 years in the automotive industry. In 1991, Mike started ACC with the sole goal of filling the local need for proper technical support. Shortly afterwards, Mike worked with members in the local community to solicit national Internet service providers to provide service to the local area. When they were unsuccessful in their attempts to draw the needed interest, Mike again filled the local need by providing low-cost Internet service in Norwalk and surrounding areas.

In 1998 Mike began working on what would become the Wireless Connections division of ACC as a skunkworks project. Mike officially created and branded the group in 2000 and quickly established himself as a respected authority on wireless broadband issues. Mike is proud to have grown ACC into a multi-million dollar organization with both a local and international presence.

Outside of ACC Mike is a recreational Pilot, enjoys boating and the pursuit of Whitetail deer.

Denao Ruttino

Denao is a native of San Diego, CA and served nine years with the U.S. Army prior to joining the ACC team. In 1997, he moved to north central Ohio, where he began his ACC career as a Network Engineer. Denao also served as Chief Technology Officer for three years prior to taking his current position as CEO in March of 2006. Today Denao leads, coaches and removes obstacles for the team at ACC.

As a life-long learner, Denao is constantly working to improve and adapt ACC’s products, services and ability to deliver great customer service. Over his career, he has attained many advanced certifications from companies including, Cisco, Microsoft and Novell as well as a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology (Security). He is an avid reader and especially enjoys books and courses in the areas of business, entrepreneurship and history. He is an active member of the Norwalk Public Library and the EHOVE Curriculum Advisory Boards.

Outside of ACC Denao likes to spend time with family and friends, travel and enjoy the outdoors.

Jeff Slone

Jeff joined Advanced Computer Connections in January 2001 and brought with him 5 years of combined Networking and Management experience. Today Jeff is our Lead Network Engineer in which he leads and approves internal and external projects both from a technical and business perspective. Jeff is also responsible for the training and certification of all technical staff to ensure we have the most knowledgeable team in Northern Ohio. Jeff currently holds vendor certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, Juniper, Sun Microsystems, Novell, and Linux.

Jeff’s next personal goal is to obtain his CCIE certification through Cisco Systems, Inc. When Jeff is not reading books to stay up on ever changing Technology he enjoys outdoor sports which include Golf, Softball, Fishing and general travel.

Shannon M. Clark

Shannon has been a part of the ACC team since 2006 and was promoted to Sales Manager from an Account Manager Position in 2009. Over her career, Shannon has held positions in technology, financial and hospitality sectors. Shannon holds Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Finance. As our Sales Manager, she leads the sales team with a technology and a customer service focus.

As a lifelong learner, she continues to expand her knowledge of business and networking technology solutions and how they apply to the ACC customer. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, gardening, and cooking.
