How it works...
Wireless networks can be separated into virtual networks in which you can allow secure access to your internal corporate network, while also allowing guest access that can be controlled by time of day, temporary username and password, and will be completely segmented from your sensitive internal network. Location based RFID tagging is accomplished by using a location appliance that tracks the location of RFID tags that send a beacon onto the wireless network. The location appliance is able to triangulate the location of the RFID tag by using the wireless access points in the area of the RFID tag.
