ACC Remote Support is a single file application that can allow a technician to view and control a client's computer via a high speed Internet connection. Once connected, an ACC technician can configure settings, troubleshoot software problems, and much more. For security reasons, this service does NOT leave remote access available once the application is closed by the client.
Important!
Remote Support is not a 24hr service. Clients must coordinate with an ACC technician prior to downloading and running the application. Remote support may require an appointment. Remote Support is simply one of many tools that an ACC technician can use to provide excellent customer service and expedite issue resolution for our clients.
Remote Support Benefits:
• An ACC technician can show a client what may be too confusing to understand from phone support.
• A client may use ACC Remote Support to show a technician the problems that they are experiencing which may result in faster issue diagnosis/resolution.
• It is more cost effective to use ACC Remote Support when applicable because it saves the time and cost for a technician to drive to the client's location.
Remote Support is not Applicable for the Following:
• Troubleshooting hardware.
• Troubleshooting problems that require the client's computer to be rebooted several times.
• Installing software from physical media.
• Clients that do not have high speed Internet access.
